Virginie Taittinger was born as the daughter of Claude Taittinger — who led Champagne Taittinger from 1960 to 2006

and Catherine de Suarez d’ Aulan, former owner of Champagne Piper-Heidsieck. From 1986 to 2006,

she worked for more than 20 years in champagne production and marketing at Champagne Taittinger.

 

When Claude and Virginie sold the champagne house to his cousin Pierre Tattinger in 2006, she later co-founded

and has run Champagne Virginie T. with her son Ferdinand since 2008.
